Doukas Print Our History
The D. Doukas & Son Company has been operating as a printing shop since 1969. Its establishment began with Dimitris Doukas, who had already been immersed in the printing trade work as a tradesman for almost a decade.
When he started working in his own printing shop, he began using a hand press. He quickly realized that he needed to invest money in an electronic stand up printing press to meet the demands of the market. Aware of technological developments, he soon foresaw that the classical methods of printing were of the past.
In 1979, he decided to invest in new offset machinery. The company prided itself on purchasing the latest equipment that was ahead of its time nationally.
As technology was rapidly changing, the company acted accordingly and changed operational equipment several times to meet the demands of the market. Since 1995, the company resolved to better accommodate to clients’ needs and invested in digital printing.
Seeing the increasing demands of clients, the printing company decided to add other branches. In 2002, the company invested in new promotional gifts, producing advertisements using the innovative Laser Paper Cutter.
For commercial services, the printing company supports digital printing in mass quantities and sizes with the ability to print on fabric.
In 2008, the printing company began expanding by investing in new buildings that housed the latest equipment, such as, the CTP; as well as, the 4-coloured printer that produced coloured images onto paper.
The Doukas Print company has been built on love. It is the driving force behind what we do.
